I can’t believe how much money I saved by booking through this dental tourism service! I needed extensive dental work that would have cost me tens of thousands at home, but in Thailand, I got the same high-quality care for a fraction of the cost.
The clinic was spotless, the dentists were highly professional, and the equipment was state-of-the-art. On top of that, I got to enjoy a holiday in a beautiful country.
The entire process was seamless, from flights and accommodation to booking my appointments. If you’ve been putting off dental work because of the cost, this is the way to go!

"I was hesitant about getting dental work done overseas, but this service exceeded all my expectations. I had lots of fillings and a root canal done during my trip to Thailand, and the savings were incredible—I paid about 70% less than what I would’ve at home.
The team arranged everything for me, including transport to and from the clinic. I even had time to explore Bangkok’s amazing temples and beaches.
The care I received was top-notch, and the dentists spoke fluent English, which put me at ease. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for affordable, high-quality dental care."

What does a typical private dental tour look like?
This is a sample;
John and Andrea contact us on June 1st and pay their professional fees. We recommend they get a quote from their dentist in Palmerston North and an X-ray (their expense, claimed via Southern Cross). The quote was $35,000.
Our team contact the clinic in Thailand and the price is estimated to be $7,000 (-10% if cash i.e. $6500) in Bangkok and requires 5 days. John can't believe how much money he's going to save.
We check with John and Andrea for their chosen dates and assist them booking flights with Qantas from Wellington to Sydney to Bangkok in economy class. This is a 3hr + 9hr flight so very reasonable and same day flight (transit Sydney).
We book John and Andrea into our 4.5* hotel and they opt for an additional night after their dental work, so they have a 2 x 5 day tour.
They opt to stay an extra 5 days in Phuket and we assist in booking their hotels there too. They book their own International flights and the domestic flights based on our recommendation of date/time/airport.
On September 1st John and Andrea fly to Bangkok and our guide wearing a pink t-shirt is waiting for them outside door 5. The flights delayed but our guide Avaya is waiting there for them. At immigration they are whisked through in minutes (additional VIP arrival) and our guide takes them in a luxury van to the 4.5* hotel. On the way she sets up the eSIMs while explaining and introducing Bangkok.
The guide explains the next few days and that she'll meet them at 9am tomorrow and take them to the clinic.
Arriving late both John and Andrea dine at the hotel after enjoying a Leo beer (most popular Thai beer). Not wanting to risk Thai food tonight, they opt for a steak and chips (home comfort).
On September 2nd both wake for a buffet breakfast and are met by Avaya at 9am who walks them (car pickup arranged for those unable to walk 250m or it's very wet!) to the clinic. Some paperwork is required and your dental assistant will come and take care of you. John explained he needed a lot of anaesthetic and the dentist was able to dose him up more than usual. Both were offered bottled water, TV and magazines while they waited. Andrea noticed the TVs in the dental chair and asked if she could wear headphones and watch TV - request granted!
After 4 hours both were out for lunch, as they were numbed up they opted for a light lunch, noodles. Our guide fetched them something from 7/11. Both returned for another couple hours before Avaya walked them back to the hotel. John was up for a swim and gym session while Andrea needed some painkillers and a lie down.
In the evening both sampled some Thai food - Pad Thai and Pad Kra Pow! The following day they were back for another day. Avaya met them again and repeated the same process for the next few days.
On day 5, our driver and guide escorted them to the airport to continue their tour to Phuket. After another week they flew back to New Zealand via Sydney on Qantas.
Combined with a tour and dental, the price was still 50% less than their clinic in Palmerston North quoted.
My dentist says it's unsafe?
Imagine being quoted $30,000 and then taking your business to Thailand and paying $5,000. It's easy to see why scare-mongering tactics happen at clinics throughout New Zealand.
A reputable dentist should tell you it's legitimate and safe given Thailand's reputation for world class dental facilities however warn you that if something were to go wrong you can't just return to the clinic at short notice. This is a fair point and something our clients do need to consider however rare and equally if issues happened in NZ you'd likely have to pay again for the same service too.
So when your dentist says its unsafe, a good reply is, "have you tried it yourself?" and of course most of them haven't. They might say a friend or a customer did and had a bad experience. But without knowing where that patient enrolled, what service they had done and their own personal circumstances it would be unfair to say your experience would be the same. There are plenty of cowboy clinics in Thailand, but we go to the #1 clinic in Thailand, that's been around for 80 years - a lot longer than your local dental clinic, and with a lot more experience, think 2 million customers!!
Dentists in NZ know full well that the majority of dentists in Thailand were trained in the UK, USA, Australia and even New Zealand on International student visas (think $100k+ a year in school fees) before returning to Thailand to start their own clinics after gaining critical experience working in the West. This is how they offer exceptional English service to clients from around the world at rock bottom prices.
But what makes it so much cheaper? It's definitely not a reduction in the level of service or unsafe practices. It's the lack of red tape, the lower salaries, the lower rent, electricity, lower cost of raw materials, dental equipment, taxes and of course a much bigger client base from around the world.
How do I pay the clinic?
Our clinics accept Visa, Mastercard. American Express is often not accepted but will work at the hotel and bars. Cash is king in Bangkok and you'll save up to 10% by paying cash. There is an ATM outside the clinic however our guide will offer to take you to the ATM the day before your dental work to ensure your card is working to avoid disappointment. If you don't want to pay cash, we'll go to 7/11 and ensure your card is working there first too.
We recommend letting your bank know about your travel and dental work as placing a large amount on your card overseas without warning can trigger security alerts.
Where possible we recommend bringing two forms of payment, i.e. two cards, if you don't have a spare one we recommend signing up for Revolut or Wise to get a travel card so you can transfer money from your NZ bank to your card if you have any issues with your credit/debit card. We can assist you with using Western Union or MoneyGram if you have any issues with your card, you will just need a family member to assist back in NZ.
Can we discuss on the phone first?
Absolutely, you're welcome to speak with one of our NZ based team.
We do ask that you request a callback though as our team are often planning other tours for our clients. We aim to call you back same day or at latest 1 working day. Please choose a suitable time slot from the drop menu.
What does my English guide do on a tour?
We are aware first time dental tourists are nervous about their first trip. What will the clinic be like? Will I be able to understand them? Will we get ripped off after leaving the airport? Do Bangkok taxi's speak English? Will the clinic rip me off? Doing a dental tour or holiday by yourself, these are all likely to happen.
Our English guide will meet you at the airport, so you will collect your bags and meet them. They are then there for the duration of your trip. They'll assist you to the hotel via private transfer, answer any questions you have, get your sim card setup and give you their line/whatsapp number to stay in contact.
You'll get assistance checking in to the hotel, and they'll meet you again the following morning after breakfast to go to the clinic. They'll show you how to get there, walk you over, get your paperwork sorted and ensure you're ready to go. If you have any issues at the clinic, with your dentist or need something sorted they'll be a resource you can rely on/translate for you. After your dental work is over, they'll assist with your lunch, snacks before your second session, or if you've only got a morning session they'll assist you back to the hotel. You are then free to do whatever you'd like (or we've booked for you such as Bangkok tours, skybar visits etc). If you get stuck, lost or need anything at all - you can call your guide.
On your last day they'll assist you to the airport for your onward flight, or return flight to New Zealand.
Thailand hospitality is amazing, if you need anything you will message your guide. If it requires assistance from our NZ team we'll call you directly and sort it out. If it's on the ground in Thailand, they'll do everything they can to assist you.
Have a question, or just want to say hello? We'd love to hear from you! Please fill out the form, and our friendly team will get back to you as soon as possible. Your input is important to us, and we're here to assist you in any way we can.
